Development of a fully customized Pregnancy Due Date Calculator designed to seamlessly match the visual style and user experience of the website.
The calculator was built using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, allowing users to calculate pregnancy progress using two different medical methods:
– Last Period + Cycle Length
– Conception Date

After calculation, the tool dynamically generates personalized results including the estimated due date, current pregnancy week and day, and an animated pregnancy timeline divided into trimesters with automatically calculated dates.
An additional interactive feature displays weekly pregnancy highlights, showing fetal development information together with fruit or vegetable size comparisons and educational content for each week of pregnancy.
The calculator functionality was packaged into a custom WordPress plugin, making installation simple via shortcode placement on any page. Inside the admin panel, site administrators can easily update weekly descriptions, replace images, and customize primary interface colors without modifying code.
The final solution combines medical logic, interactive UX, and scalable architecture, transforming a custom-built calculator into a reusable and easily manageable website feature.
